Impressive Earnings for Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS) impressed with fourth quarter earnings that grew to $1.76 per share from $1.56 per share in the year ago period. The nation's largest bookseller also forecast fiscal 2006 earnings above expectations sending the stock price soaring $4.18 to close at $47.40.
